According to Football Insider, Manchester United would see a bid accepted by Brighton for Moises Caicedo if it was worth £80 million.

Despite the Ecuadorian recently penning a new contract at the Amex, the Seagulls would allow him to leave this summer.

Arsenal gave it their all to secure his services in January by bidding a reported £70 million, but for Brighton to reject their approach in the final days of the window.

But now, in the summer, several Premier League sides are believed to be wanting to lure the midfielder away from the south coast.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are all said to be interested, whilst Arsenal continue to keep tabs on the 21-year-old.

The quartet are said to have not been put off by the Ecuadorian’s new deal, which runs until June 2027.

His new wage is said to be £60,000 a week at Brighton.

Caicedo has been instrumental in Brighton’s rise to prominence in the English top-flight this term. The Seagull are on course for their best-ever season in England.

He is also a full-fledged Ecuadorian international. Caicedo featured in all three of Ecuador’s matches at the recent World Cup in Qatar, scoring in their final game against Senegal.

United’s interest comes as Erik ten Hag looks set to part ways with Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek. Marcel Sabitzer will also return to Bayern Munich, with a permanent move unconfirmed as of now.

Liverpool‘s interest may be ramped up after ‘cooling’ their interest in Jude Bellingham. Mason Mount is said to be their priority in the summer, but 2/3 midfield acquisitions is likely.
