Premier League trio Man United, Liverpool and Tottenham are reportedly all interested in making a move for Napoli’s South Korean defender Kim Min-Jae this summer.

European giants Paris-Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on the defender. This gives the 26-year-old plenty of options if he decides to leave Italy in the summer.

Kim’s preference of destination if he were to leave Napoli is believed to be the Premier League.

Joining from Fenerbahce for around £15 million last summer, the defender could already be on the move after just 12 months in the Serie A.

It is believed that Kim has a release clause of £39 million in his contract. Napoli may now look to remove this from his contract by offering the defender new terms.

Spurs have a key advantage over other interested parties in the race for his signature however.

The presence of Kim’s international team mate Heung-Min Son could play a factor in the 49-time South Korean internationals next move.

Regardless of where he ends up, Kim has been a revelation in Naples.

His defensive efforts has helped inspire the Gli Azzurri to what will surely be their first Serie A title since the 1989/90 season.

Luciano Spalletti’s side are currently 16 points clear at the top of the Italian top-flight with just 10 games to go.

They are also into the Champions League quarter-finals, where they will face fellow Italians AC Milan. They reached this stage by demolishing Eintracht Frankfurt 5-0 on aggregate in the last-16.
