Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo was close to joining Arsenal in January, but after the deal fell through, the Ecuadorian penned a new deal with the club on the south coast. With several clubs still interested in the midfielder, we’ve taken a look at his next club odds.
Moises Caicedo committed his long-term future to Brighton last week, by penning a new contract keeping him at the club until the summer of 2027.
The Seagulls also have an option to extend his contract by a further 12-months.

After an impressive World Cup campaign in Qatar, many English top-flight clubs were believed to be interested. Arsenal and Chelsea were amongst those clubs, with both making moves for the player in the winter transfer window.
Arsenal made several bids for the player throughout the January window, but Brighton refused to budge.
Mikel Arteta’s side were said to have had bids upward of £70m rejected by the Seagulls.

The 21-year-old even went public with his desire to move to the Emirates, but to no avail. The Ecuador international took to Instagram, citing the need to secure his family’s future with the significantly improved wage he’d pick up at Arsenal.
Despite signing a new contract with Brighton, a number of top flight clubs are still said to be interested in signing the midfielder.
Suitors include Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool, according to a report from Football Insider.
Having rejected bids in January of £70m, it had been reported that Brighton had placed a £90m price tag on Caicedo.
Now, with a long-term contract signed, the Seagulls’ bargaining power will have increased, and they may demand an even larger sum before thinking of selling.
