Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has offered his Premier League winner prediction, backing his beloved Gunners to win their first league title in 19 years.
The race for the Premier League title took another twist last weekend, as league-leaders Arsenal defeated Aston Villa in injury time, and second-place Manchester City dropped two points away at Nottingham Forest – and former Gunners star Thierry Henry has offered his prediction on which way he think the title race will go.
Last week, Arsenal were defeated by City at the Emirates, but remain two points clear at the top with a game-in-hand after last weekend’s drama.

Mikel Arteta’s side are far from being Premier League champions however, as they still have 15 fixtures to fulfill. These fixtures include the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United, so it is still very much all to play for in terms of the title-race.
Henry has now backed his beloved side for Premier League glory on CBS Sports’ Golazo.
When asked who he thinks will lift the title come May, Henry responded:
“Arsenal. Just with my heart to cover my head.”
It’s taken a long time for the Gunners’ to get back to this level, having not played in the Champions League since 2016/17, but everything now seems to be on the up under under Arteta.

Speaking on CBS’ House of Champions podcast, Henry commended Arteta for the job he’s done so far.
“You could see there was a little disconnection with the fans.
“All the fans wanted is to relate to the team, a team that can compete. They didn’t boo the team on Thursday, [defeats] happen, fans can understand that.
“What fans don’t understand is when they don’t see a team that fights,” Henry continued.
“They don’t see themselves in a team that doesn’t represent the community. Edu, the board, Mikel Arteta, whoever, however you want to call it, brought that back.
“Are we going to win the league? I don’t know. But it looks like the Arsenal I know. At the end of the day, you can’t fool fans, they scream, they’re there and they have that attitude because they see something, that’s why they’re loud. It’s a different emotion.”
