talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan has warned West Ham that they will struggle to find a talented manager to replace David Moyes if they choose to sack him at this stage of the season.

David Moyes is now the odds-on favourite to be sacked in the next Premier League manager to leave odds. This comes off the back of the Hammers’ 2-0 league defeat to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.

West Ham are in the relegation zone after suffering a 13th league defeat of the season. They are now one point from safety behind 17th place Bournemouth.

Reports have suggested that if Moyes can’t mastermind a win against fellow relegation-battlers Nottingham Forest this weekend, his time in East London may be over.

Premier League betting sites have listed Rafa Benitez as the favourite to take over at the London Stadium if Moyes is to be dismissed, but talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan has issued a warning to the relegation strugglers.

Jordan’s Comments

“They’ll be in the same situation (as Leeds & Southampton),” Jordan said live on talkSPORT.

“You aren’t going to get Pochettino and these characters to come in if you think that’s the solution.

“We’ve never had a situation like this and maybe it’s because we’ve finally exhausted that ridiculous gravy-train of spinning that carousel of these so-called fireman managers that come in and fix these problems,

“We’ve reached the bottom of the pale when managers are getting fired at this point of the season, and there isn’t this plethora of talented managers who are going to fix the problems.”

West Ham’s season is far from over however, as they are already in the last-16 of the Europa Conference League after topping their group.

The third tier European competition could provide Hammers fans with a distraction from their terrible form in the league.
