Harry Kane’s potential move away from Tottenham Hotspur has long been a topic of discussion, and in the latest odds for his transfer – Manchester United have been identified as the favourites to land the England captain.
Harry Kane has been with Tottenham Hotspur since the age of 11, signing in 2004 – and hasn’t looked back since. The self-proclaimed Spurs fan recently overtook Jimmy Greaves as the club’s all-time top-scorer, cementing himself even further as a Tottenham Hotspur legend.

Despite playing for his boyhood club, and achieving many individual accolades, Kane is approaching 30-years-old and is still yet to win a major honour with the club. With his window for playing at the very highest level approaching its final years, the 29-year-old may be considering a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – in an attempt to win some silverware.
Kane’s contract runs until the summer of 2024, therefore Spurs could get another season out of him at the very minimum. But would the club want to lose him for free? If they decide to sell him this summer, they could earn upwards of £100 million, so a move this summer may benefit all parties.
Premier League giants Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United have long been linked with moves for the England captain, with the latter now being identified as the favourites to secure his signature.
United are currently priced at around 4/1 to sign Kane on Premier League betting sites, with Bayern Munich priced at 14/1 as the second favourites.
Erik ten Hag’s project may well appeal to Kane, especially with the club looking likely to secure Champions League football once again. With Wout Weghorst’s loan expiring in the summer, and the club’s only other out-and-out striker being injury-prone Anthony Martial – a move for England’s top goalscorer makes perfect sense.
