Wolves’ odds of being relegated from the Premier League have drifted to 7/2 after drawing 1-1 with Fulham at Craven Cottage this evening.
Julen Lopetegui’s side came into this one off the back of a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth. Prior to the Bournemouth loss, Wolves secured two impressive league victories against Liverpool and Southampton.
Victory for either side would’ve crucial this evening. A win for Wolves would’ve seen them move up to 13th, and a win for Fulham would’ve seen them move level on points with Newcastle United.
A reaction was needed after losing to fellow relegation-battlers last time out, and the fans certainly got that in the first-half.
Former PSG midfielder Pablo Sarabia opened the scoring for the visitors with a smart finish from Raul Jimenez’ header.
It was the Spaniard’s first Premier League goal for the club, having made three starts prior to this evening.

Wolves continued to impress throughout the rest of the first-45, and held on to take a one goal advantage into the break.
A double change for Fulham at the midway point saw talented Israeli forward Manor Solomon enter the field of play. Solomon had scored in each of his last two Premier League appearances before this evening.
It didn’t take long for the 23-year-old to make it three-in-three. A sumptuous curled effort from the left-hand side snuck in at the far-post – levelling the score at Craven Cottage after 64 minutes.

Carlos Vinicius had the opportunity to secure all three points for the hosts in added time. The Brazilian’s headed effort was expertly kept out by Wolves stopper Jose Sa to keep the scores level.

A draw means Wolves move level on points with 14th place Leicester City, four points clear of the relegation zone.
Lopetegui’s side have a game in hand on all of their fellow relegation-battlers however, meaning they’ll need to pick up plenty more vital points between now and the end of the campaign to remain in the Premier League.
