TNT Sports always have a Saturday afternoon or evening game broadcasted but they don’t this weekend.
Why is there no 12:30pm kick-off
Usually, the 12:30pm kick-off would move to 8pm if it’s a European week with eight of the Premier League teams taking part in European competitions.
This week there isn’t either as TNT Sports have decided not to broadcast a game.
TNT Sports have the rights to broadcast 52 Premier League a season which are divided by the weekend’s lunchtime/evening slot as well as two rounds of midweek fixtures.
There is Friday night football instead which will be broadcasted on Sky Sports which will see Nottingham Forest face Tottenham Hotspur. With no 12:30pm kick-off on Saturday, the Premier League will continue with it’s 3pm kick-off. The day will close out with Sky Sports again with their usual 5:30pm slot as Burnley face Everton.
TNT Sports will return with Premier League next weekend (23rd December) with their usual 12:30pm kick-off schedule. They’ll be broadcasting West Ham V Manchester United.
Last weekend (9th December) on TNT Sports saw Crystal Palace take on Liverpool with the Reds taking a late 2-1 win.
European competitions
Even though TNT won’t be broadcasting any Premier League action, they will still have all the final action from the European group stages.
Champions League fixtures will be on Tuesday and Wednesday as usual followed by Europa League and Europa Conference League on Thursday.
