The Red Devils come into this one off the back of a disappointing 2-0 defeat away at Newcastle, as the Bees played out a six-goal thriller in a 3-3 draw against Brighton at the Amex.
A win for United would see them move up to at least fourth, but possibly even third (depending on Newcastle’s result vs West Ham). Thomas Frank’s side would overtake Liverpool and Aston Villa with a win, moving level on points with Brighton who are currently sixth.

Why Is Manchester United vs Brentford Not On TV?
Manchester United vs Brentford is a rescheduled fixture that was initially meant to be played on Sunday 26 February. The match could not be played on its original date due to United’s involvement in the Carabao Cup final.
The reason it was due to take place on that date, with a 13:30 GMT kick-off, was due to United’s Europa League play-off second leg with Barcelona which was played on the preceding Thursday night, and not because of live television rights.
The match selected for this evening’s live coverage is West Ham vs Newcastle, which will be shown live on Sky Sports from 20:00 BST.
At the same time, BT Sport are showing the second-leg of Real Madrid and Barcelona’s Copa del Rey semi-final, therefore fans will have to follow United vs Brentford elsewhere.
