The Sidemen return with a charity match bigger than ever against the YouTube All-Stars at West Ham’s London Stadium on Saturday afternoon. With several social media celebritites from across the globe set to take to the pitch, read on for the full squad lists ahead of the clash.
Having played at The Valley – the home of Charlton Athletic in last year’s edition of the Sidemen charity match, the British YouTube group have upgraded for this year, and are set to play in front of 62,000 people at West Ham’s London Stadium at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
Known for their antics in front of a camera rather than on a football pitch, last year’s clash ended with a whopping 8-7 scoreline in favour of the Sidemen, with ‘Miniminter’ grabbing a hat-trick against the opposing YouTube All-Stars.
Over £1million was raised for different charities thanks to last year’s event, with thousands in attendance in person, whilst millions kept up with the action online, and those figures are only expected to increase this time around.
All money raised from the fixture will be donated to a wide array of charities, including Campaigning Against Living Miserably (CALM), Teenage Cancer Trust, M7 and Rays of Sunshine.
The event’s livestream (available for free on the Sidemen YouTube channel) will be hosted by Elz the Witch and Big Zuu, with online comedian Stephen Tries also expected to be involved.
