Michael Conlan’s fiancé, Shauna Olali, has been by the Irishman’s side for over ten years now. She has been by Conlan’s side all throughout his boxing career since he turned professional back in 2017. Even before ‘Mick’ turned pro, he and Shauna had been together for over five years and were already engaged.
Shauna worked as a legal secretary when the pair got engaged back in July 2015. The Irish boxing superstar popped the question by writing a note that said, “Mummy will you marry my Daddy: please!?!” as their daughter held the note as she sat in her baby chair. He also placed a large solitaire diamond engagement ring on the baby’s index finger in the romantic gesture.
Shauna is 31-years-old and based in Belfast with her fiancé, where she looks after their two children. The pair met around eleven years ago as young adults in their late teens/early 20’s. Is is unknown how they exactly met, but the pair have been loved up ever since and have been together for over a decade now.
Although the couple are engaged, they have put off their wedding plans due to their busy schedule. With Mick’s boxing career, it is difficult to balance their work and family life. However, Conlan has previously said that he wants to tie the knot in Italy and plans to get married along the Amalfi coast.

Their daughter Luisne, which means ‘little flame’ in Irish, was born back in 2015 just before the couple got engaged. Their second child came three years later. Conlan and Olali had a baby boy this time who they called Michael Jr.
Conlan admits that his son is just like him and is already throwing punches and shadow boxing. Not only that, but Michael Jr has showed off some neat footwork to his Dad on several occasions before too. However, the world title challenger doesn’t seem to want his son to follow in his footsteps into a boxing ring.
