Manchester City returned to the top of the table on Wednesday night with a 3-0 win over West Ham United, and Erling Haaland scored a record-breaking 35th Premier League goal of the season. Following this result, we’re taking a look at Man City’s remaining fixtures.
As we enter the final stages of the season, the title race is certainly heating up with City and Arsenal battling it out for glory. The Gunners returned to winning ways on Tuesday night with an impressive 3-1 win over Chelsea.
City hosted West Ham on Wednesday night knowing a win would take them back into first place. The Hammers made it hard for the hosts, and it was 0-0 at half time. City continued to pile on the pressure in the second half and Nathan Ake scored the opener.
Haaland made it 2-0 around 20 minutes later to score his 51st goal of the season and then Phil Foden added a third late on.

City still have a treble to play for as we enter the final month of the season, with a Champions League semi-final tie with Real Madrid just around the corner. The first-leg is on Tuesday May 9th, and the second-leg is eight days later on Wednesday, May 17th.
Pep Guardiola’s side also booked a spot in this season’s FA Cup final, and they’ll take on rivals Manchester United at Wembley on June 3rd. But, who do they play in the Premier League?
