Luke Littler has taken the darting world by storm on his debut at the 2024 World Darts Championship. The 16-year-old darts sensation has defied all odds to reach the final on his Ally Pally debut. But what price was Luke Littler to go all the way and win the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship pre-tournament?

Luke Littler Pre-Tournament Odds

Luke Littler has made it all the way to the final of the 2024 World Darts Championship on debut. This is obviously an incredible feat in itself, never mind the fact ‘The Nuke’ is just 16-years-old.

The Warrington-based darting sensation has already beaten the likes of five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld, 2018 world champion Rob Cross and reigning UK Open champion Andrew Gilding on his way to the 2024 World Darts Championship Final.

Prior to a dart being thrown, Littler was one of the 96 players with aspirations of going all the way to lift the coveted Sid Waddell Trophy. Now, just two players remain – one of which is of course Luke Littler, who would become the youngest ever PDC winner.

Heading into the 2024 World Championship, Luke Littler was priced as big as 300/1 with some UK bookmakers. Now, he is priced at 6/5 with UK sports betting apps to win the final and defeat new world number one Luke Humphries.

One punter on Twitter uploaded their betslip to social media, backing ‘The Nuke’ at odds of 200/1 (see below). However, the week prior to the tournament, Littler’s odds dropped to around 66/1 to 100/1 roughly. If you backed Littler at bigger than 100/1 with online gambling sites, lucky you!

Another punter is waiting on Luke Littler to win the World Darts Championship for an incredible darts double. As you can see in the below tweet, one punter backed ‘The Nuke’ at odds of 300/1 in a double with Michael van Gerwen to win the 2023 Premier League, which he did.

Luke Littler Now 6/5 To Be Crowned World Darts Champion

Now that the final is upon us, Luke Littler’s odds have dropped dramatically as the 2024 World Darts Championship tournament has progressed. Although he was as wide as 300/1 pre-tournament, he is now priced at around 6/5 with live betting sites to win the Sid Waddell Trophy on debut.

Not only that, but a victory for tonight for ‘The Nuke’ over Luke Humphries will earn the 16-year-old a whopping £500,000 in World Darts Championship prize money. What a tournament it has been for the Warrington man, who could rule the roost in darts for the next few decades at least.

One punter has also joked that he is waiting on Luke Littler to win tonight for a jaw-dropping €5 million+. The bet is a €5 bet, with Littler to win the 2024 Worlds priced in a double with Leicester City to win the 2015/16 Premier League at 5000/1 – which they of course did.

As good as this bet is, it isn’t quite real. Could you imagine placing a bet like this!
