The Three Lions are in action this Friday, as they host Australia in an international friendly at Wembley, and with the date also being the 13th – an unlucky one for some – we thought we’d take a look back to see when the last time England were in action on this superstitious day.

The unlucky day theory kicked in for England with the Roy Hodgson led side going down 2-0 away at Spain.
