Victor Osimhen and his agent are threatening legal action against Napoli after the club’s official TikTok account posted a video mocking him for missing a penalty in last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Bologna
Victor Osimhen Furious Over Social Media Post
Napoli posted a TikTok with footage of their star man appealing for a penalty on Sunday against Bologna, and they added a squeaky voice dubbed over the top, and then shown the Nigerian forward missing the spot-kick. You can see the now-deleted post below.

Osimhen is said to be furious about the video and has even gone as far as deleting all Instagram pictures related to the club on his official account.
The 24-year-old was also involved in a bust-up with Napoli head coach Rudi Garcia after he was substituted in the final few minutes of the game against Bologna.
That result now leaves last year’s Serie A champions seven points behind current leaders Inter Milan.
Osimhen was pivotal in Napoli’s first league win in over 30 years last season, scoring 31 goals in all competitions. This led to him attracting lots of interest in the summer from club’s including Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid among others.
The Nigeria international’s agent Roberto Calenda was speaking following the incident: “We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor Osimhen,” Calenda wrote on X.
“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable.
“A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted. A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news.”
