Victor Osimhen has given the biggest indication yet that he will stay with Napoli despite transfer interest from some of Europe’s elite, after telling the media that there is ‘no better place to be’ than with the Serie A champions.
Manchester United and Chelsea target Victor Osimhen has hinted that he will remain with Serie A champions Napoli beyond this summer.
Osimhen has been heavily linked with a move away from Naples, with the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich also rumoured to be interested.
Rumours of a move away comes following the Nigerian enjoying a sensational season, where he scored 31 goals in 39 appearances to help Napoli towards the Scudetto.
He, along with Harry Kane, has been one of the most sought-after forwards in world football ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

But now, Osimhen looks to have dealt a blow to those interested in signing him by indicating that he may remain at Napoli.
“I’m so proud that I am actually a Scudetto winner, for me, it’s a huge one. Whatsoever honour that comes after this, I will welcome it.” he told Soccernet.
“And I am really working hard to make sure, and now I am addicted to trophies because now the Scudetto is my first trophy as a pro.
“Now I’m addicted, and I can’t wait for the new season to come. There’s no better place to be than this place. I am so happy I made the right choice by coming here.
“And achieving this kind of greatness with the Neapolitans is something that I will wake up and always smile about.
“My children’s children will come into this world and realise that their father has done something amazing.”
