Casemiro was lucky not to see red in Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Brighton on Thursday night.
The Brazilian midfielder had his fingerprints all over the game with tackles flying left, right and centre at the Amex Stadium.
His battle with Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister was a key component to the game, and the 31-year-old could have been easily sent off by referee Andre Marriner.
Casemiro was booked on the stroke of half time and looked on the verge of a sending off towards the closing stages.
This marked his first yellow card in the Premier League since January 18 – but he has had two red cards in that time.
Should Casemiro have received a second yellow for this foul on Alexis Mac Allister? 👀#BBCFootball pic.twitter.com/cCQbRHDxbc

United right-back Diogo Dalot was spotted telling Casemiro to calm down, who had an up-and-down game on the south coast.
Casemiro gets his usual booking for fouling Mac Allister done with. You'd think they were from neighbouring countries with a massive rivalry.

Next foul and Casemiro is off.
