Following Jadon Sancho’s impressive performance in the Champions League on Wednesday night, we’ve collated some of the best reactions on Twitter.
Sancho, who was exiled from the first-team squad by Erik ten Hag, impressed during Dortmund’s 1-0 victory in the first leg of the semi-final against PSG.
The Manchester United loanee looked a completely different player to the one who struggled so dismally in the Premier League following a £73 million transfer.
Following a public fallout with Ten Hag, Sancho made a temporary switch to the Bundesliga giants in January with the hope of reviving his career.
Since then, it has been reported that Dortmund are confident of securing another loan move for the out-of-favour England star next season.

Shortly after the final whistle, Dortmund put out a tweet demanding an apology to Sancho from everyone who had doubted him:
You all owe him an apology, we were ALWAYS familiar with his game. pic.twitter.com/UdacSpIHvZ

Stats experts also had praise for Sancho and his involvement in the match, having 99 touches, making three key passes, and completing a game-high 12 dribbles.
Jadon Sancho completed 12 dribbles against PSG, the most he has ever manage in a single game in his career, more than any player has managed in the Champions League this season & SEVEN more than his best ever total in a game for Man Utd.

Not only did the 24-year-old become the first Englishman to complete 11 or more take-ons in a Champions League match, but the last player to complete as many dribbles in a semi-final of the competition was none other than Lionel Messi, sixteen years ago.
Jadon Sancho is the first Englishman EVER to complete 11+ take-ons in a single Champions League game.
It's been SIXTEEN YEARS since the last time a player completed more dribbles a UCL semifinal: Lionel Messi against Man United in 2008.

One Liverpool fan couldn’t help but take a dig at Sancho’s parent club:
If Sancho had not stuck to his guns and apologised to Ten Hag, he'd be getting 20 minute cameos in draws to Coventry and Burnley. Instead, he's tearing it up in a Champions League semifinal.
Best career decision he's ever made.

Of course, the job is not done yet. Die Schwarzgelben still have to go to PSG and secure a result in the return leg, which Sancho will be focused on.
