Tottenham vs Newcastle Preview

Tottenham have been struggling for form since some of their key players got injured at the beginning of November and they were yet again breaking unwanted records on Thursday night.

Spurs went ahead for the fourth time in there last five games and still managed to lose against West Ham, with Ange Postecoglou’s side dropping to fifth in a close top half of the table.

With no wins in their last five games the pressure is starting to seriously mount in North London, so Newcastle can expect a tough match on Sunday.

Newcastle were stunned at Goodison Park on Thrusday night, as Everton pounced on mistakes late on to cruise past the Magpies 3-0 and jump out of the relegation zone in a dominant display.

Kieran Trippier was at fault for two goals in the second half, as lapses in concentration cost Eddie Howe’s side after a close match for 75 minutes.

The loss to Everton halted a three game winning streak for Newcastle, after wins against Manchester United and Chelsea saw them rise up the table to seventh.
