Last month’s first-leg in Milan was hardly a Champions League classic, with both teams’ performances indicative of their inconsistency so far this season.
The Serie A champions prevailed with a narrow 1-0 victory however, courtesy of a rather scrappy Brahim Diaz goal within the first 10 minutes. The rest of the tie was underlined by wasted opportunities, albeit few and far between.
