Tottenham Hotspur Vs Chelsea Prediction
Spurs are just one of two teams that remain undefeated in the Premier League this season. Their record of eight wins and two draws sees them sit at the top of the table after 10 games.
Ange Postecoglu’s side have won their last four games and have put up their strongest start to a top-flight season since their championship-winning 1960-61 campaign.
Cheslea, on the other hand, have been a mixed bag. Despite some encouraging performances against the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, Mauricio Pochettino’s remain in the bottom half of the table, having only won three of their 10 games.
The trio of Moises Caicedo, Conor Gallagher and Enzo Fernandez is one of the finest midfields in Europe but there are still glaring issues when turning chances into goals. In fact, they have failed to score in 14 Premier League games this calendar year, which is more than any other team.
Given Chelsea’s attacking woes compared to Tottenham’s form and confidence, it’s difficult to go against a home win here.
Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Chelsea
Tottenham Hotspur Vs Chelsea Betting Tips
- Tottenham to win @23/20
- Son Heung-Min to score @11/8
- Combined Bet Builder Odds: 21/10
There were question marks surrounding how Spurs were going to be able to replace the goals that Harry Kane provided after their record goalscorer made the summer switch to Bayern Munich.
It turns out the solution was right under their nose in Son Heung-Min, who is relishing his new central role under Postecoglu. The South Korean forward has notched eight Premier League goals so far – only Erling Haaland has scored more.
It makes the price of 11/8 for him to score against Chelsea on Monday very appealing, and we wouldn’t put you off backing the brace at 17/2 or the hat-trick at 40/1 either.
