A new season, and with it a new manager, who Tottenham fans will be hoping can help flip their misfortunes from last year on its head. With a string of new faces arriving in North London this summer, see what Ange Postecoglou has to play with as we run through Tottenham’s confirmed squad for 2023/24.

Four the third time in four years, Tottenham failed to finish in the top four. Having been guided to Champions League football in a hugely positive first season by Antonio Conte, the typically fiery Italian was relieved of his duties less than a year later after showing his true colours.

A turbulent season left them struggling for consistency, with many questioning where Spurs would be without Harry Kane’s 30 Premier League goals. As the new season nears, his long-running stint in London looks increasingly likely to continue, although no certainties have been given by the club nor the player himself.

After caretaker manager Ryan Mason saw the season out and subsequently failed to qualify for Europe in any of its formats, it now befalls to Ange Postecoglou to try and instil fresh hope.

A slew of new signings – James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Manor Solomon, Alejo Veliz, Guiglielmo Vicario and Ashley Phillips – are all expected to make an immediate impact as Postecoglou attempts to lift the dark cloud that sits over the Tottenham Stadium from last term.
