Tottenham Hotspur are close to signing Pedro Porro, with Sporting Lisbon having reportedly contacted Brighton over a possible loan move for Ghanaian full-back Tariq Lamptey.
Antonio Conte has been on the hunt for a right wing-back to fit his system since the summer, with the Italian reportedly making Porro his main target for the position.
Spurs are hopeful of completing a deal that could be worth up to around £40m for the 23-year-old.

Reports are now suggesting, that after talks between the two clubs, an agreement for the transfer of the Spanish international is closer than ever.
The transfer looks to be even closer now, as it is believed that Sporting Lisbon have approached Brighton & Hove Albion about signing 22-year-old Tariq Lamptey on loan for the rest of the season.

Lamptey has only started one Premier League game this term, making a further 15 appearances from the bench, so would a loan move fit all parties?
The Hillingdon born right-back only joined the Seagulls from Chelsea in January 2020, but has struggled with injury after an impressive debut campaign, and is under contract with the club until 2025.
Porro has made 12 Liga Portugal starts this season, and has one Spanish cap to his name, coming in March 2021 against Georgia.
The Spaniard was formerly contracted to Manchester City, and despite never making a league appearance for the Citizens, City would benefit from a move to north London as they are said to have a 30 per cent sell-on clause after selling Porro for £7.2m in May 2022.
Spurs have won just three of their last seven matches, since returning after the World Cup, sitting fifth in the Premier League table, and are still competing in both the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League.
Premier League betting sites have Tottenham priced at around 3/1 to finish in the top four, as they remain three points behind fourth place Manchester United and third place Newcastle United.
