Saint Palais looks over-priced according to Tony Calvin. Fell the last day at Haydock but was keeping on well that day to suggest he’d have run into a place. Hiddenvalley Lake is the shorter priced runner from the Henry De Bromhead yard that are having a decent Festival. Has won 2 of his last 3 and the first-time tongue-tie is on today.

• 3.30: Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup Chase ITV1: A PLUS TARD
  

The current Gold Cup winner that flopped in the Betfair Chase last time out back in November. Connections have taken their time with him since but the De Bromhead runners are in good order and being a proven CD winner it’s hard to ignore his chance. He’s also the clear top-rated in the field at 180, to Galopin Des Champs 173.

 The first two in the betting have been all the talk here, but Tony Calvin feels Magic Daze can upset the party.
