Teenage dart sensation, Luke Littler, has named his dream Manchester United five-a-side team – including some surprise selections.

Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler has become one of the biggest names in UK sport after bursting onto the scene at the Darts World Championships – reaching the final at just 16-years-old.
Since then, the now 17-year-old has won the Bahrain Masters and entered the PDC Premier League – whilst receiving huge exposure across various platforms.
Littler is a huge Manchester United fan and was invited to watch the Red Devils’ 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in January.
In a recent interview, the teenager was asked to name his dream five-a-side team from Manchester United players he has witnessed live.
Littler said: “From what I’ve witnessed, I’d probably go David de Gea in goal. I’ve seen a bit of Nemanja Vidic so I’ll throw him in. I’ve seen a bit of Rio Ferdinand as well. I’d have to go with Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo.”
Being 17-years-old means he would not have seen the likes of Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, and Peter Schmeichel – whilst also missing out on the prime years of Ronaldo.
However, due to the Portuguese icon’s return in 2021, Littler included Ronaldo in his dream team and the only player currently in the United side is Bruno Fernandes.
The Manchester United captain has made 217 appearances since signing in 2020, contributing to 132 goals (71G+61A).
Iconic partnership, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, would have been coming towards the end of their careers but still make Littler’s side.
David de Gea has been chosen in between the sticks and the Spaniard joined Manchester United in 2011 – meaning Littler would have been four years old.
