What is Arsenal’s predicted chance of winning the league?

Currently, Arsenal’s chances of ending a 20-year wait for another Premier League title stand at 18.8%. The Gunners regained there spot at the summit following Liverpool’s stalemate with Manchester City, although they only lead the former thanks to a superior goal difference.

10 games stand between Arsenal and a long-awaited league title, but difficult trips to the Etihad, Old Trafford and neighbours Tottenham remain. Given Manchester City’s run-in record under Pep Guardiola, and Liverpool’s ability to conjure up three points in the face of adversity, you feel Mikel Arteta’s men will have to win all their remaining games to stand a chance.

However, momentum is firmly in their favour after Kai Havertz’s late goal against Brentford boosted Arsenal’s chances by over 5% –  a figure that will jump significantly should they overcome City at the end of March.

The Gunners have the most points after scoring first in the Premier League, and will need to carry that impressive statistic into their clash with the champions, who also have a tendency to race into a lead.

Arsenal could win the double with the Premier League and Champions League still in sight. Arsenal overcame Porto on penalties to go through to the quarter-final.

What is Liverpool’s predicted chance of winning the league?

Liverpool’s chances took a small hit after failing to beat Manchester City. Before Sunday, their chances stood at 35.6% and now that percentage has been dashed to 35.3%.

Liverpool have games against Manchester United, Tottenham and Aston Villa still to come, but barring any surprise results the rest of their run-in looks achievable.

Liverpool have been held back by VAR mistakes in the title race and they’ll feel hard done by if they don’t end up winning the league.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s side are still very much in the race and they’ve shown they have more than enough quality to secure their second ever Premier League title.

There has been talk of the quadruple after Liverpool secured the Carabao Cup. They’re breezing past teams in the Europa League and an enticing FA Cup quarter-final tie against bitter rivals Manchester United awaits.

What is Manchester City’s predicted chance of winning the league?

Manchester City were the biggest losers over the weekend. Their chances dropped astronomically from 51.4% to 45.9%.

City are still the strong favourites in this title race as they have credit in the bank from previous seasons. Guardiola’s men very rarely lose from this point on – in fact, across Guardiola’s seven full seasons in charge, he has lost just nine games in the final 10-game stretch.

Manchester City do have tough tests against Arsenal and Tottenham to come but it’s nothing that Manchester City can’t handle as they look to win their fourth consecutive Premier League title.

City are also looking to repeat the treble from last season as the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League aren’t beyond their grasp. Manchester City are in the quarter-final of both the FA Cup and Champions League.
