When it comes to giving an opinion, Simon Jordan is certainly a man who doesn’t pull any punches. The divisive talkSPORT host has weighed-in with his Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin prediction ahead of tonight’s ‘Day Of Reckoning’ main event.

Simon Jordan Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin Prediction

Simon Jordan certainly knows a thing or two when it comes to the sport of boxing. Not only that, but he is a man that isn’t afraid to put his neck on the line and give some outrageous and controversial opinions as well.

Jordan regularly talks about boxing, amongst other sports, on his talkSPORT show with Jim White on a daily basis. He of course had that recent spat with Matchroom Boxing chairman Eddie Hearn, with the pair discussing the whole Conor Benn failed drugs test drama.

Ahead of the Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin main event bout at ‘Day Of Reckoning‘ in Saudi Arabia tonight, Simon Jordan has given his opinion on how he sees the fight playing out. Jordan has been a huge critic of Anthony Joshua of late, but is backing the former two-time world heavyweight champion to win.

Going into the fight, Anthony Joshua is priced as the 2/7 favourite with the best boxing betting sites to extend his record to 27-3 and set up a huge fight next year with Deontay Wilder. On the flip side, Otto Wallin is the big underdog, priced at as wide as 11/4 with the majority of UK bookmakers.

Simon Jordan Expects ‘AJ’ To Win ‘Day Of Reckoning’ Main Event

UK boxing fans can watch the Joshua vs Wallin fight live on pay-per-view, with the main event expected to be at approx. 11.45pm GMT. Despite being the main event, there are no world title belts on the line for Joshua vs Wallin.

For this heavyweight clash in the Saudi Arabian desert between Anthony Joshua and Otto Wallin, Simon Jordan believes there is every chance that ‘AJ’ could fall short once again, but believes if he is at his best, Joshua should get the job done in style.

“It’s all dependent on which Anthony Joshua turns up,” said Jordan, speaking on his mid-morning show at talkSPORT.

“If he turns up as we would like him to turn up and lets his hands go, puts himself in range, then I expect him to beat Otto Wallin.

“Wallin dines out on the notoriety of the performance against Tyson Fury a few years ago, where he damaged Fury before the Wilder fight. A Fury that wasn’t switched on as he could or should have been.”
