Although Crystal Palace have lost star player Wilfried Zaha, they still have a strong side on paper with the likes of Eberechi Eze, Odsonne Edouard and Jean-Philippe Mateta in attack. They look like a team that will have another comfortable mid-table season with Hodgson at the helm.
For Sheffield United, they will be reliant on picking up as many points as possible at Bramall Lane. Expect this one to be nip-and-tuck, with a low scoring affair usually the norm between these two sides.
A point a piece would probably be a good result for both teams on paper heading into the opening weekend of the 2023/24 Premier League season.

The arrival of Roy Hodgson towards the tail end of last season saw Eberechi Eze come alive, and he will have to shoulder more of the responsibility in front of goal after Zaha’s departure.
