Ryan Mason is expected to take interim charge of Spurs until the end of the season when Antonio Conte is officially sacked according to the latest odds.

Spurs are likely to part ways with Conte later this week after the Italian unleashed a furious attack on the players and board following Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Southampton.

Conte, who took over from Jose Mourinho in 2021, called his star players ‘selfish’ and said they’re afraid of playing under pressure as Tottenham’s 15 year trophy drought continues to linger over the club.

Despite sitting fourth in the Premier League table and on track to finish in the European places, Conte’s time in north London appears to be up ahead of a decisive transfer window for Spurs.

Ryan Mason to take charge of Spurs until the end of the season

After the sacking of Jose Mourinho in 2021, Ryan Mason became the youngest coach in Premier League history at the age of 29.

He was named interim boss until the end of the season and oversaw seven games, winning four and losing three (including an EFL Cup Final defeat to Manchester City).

Mason was promoted to First Team Coach after impressing Antonio Conte in his first week in charge and worked closely with the Italian’s backroom staff.

The 31-year-old will have a monumentous task on his hands until the end of the season to keep the club in the top four and secure Champions League football for next season.
