Real Madrid have officially confirmed the signing of English youngster Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund on a six-season deal.

On Wednesday morning, La Liga giants Real Madrid officially confirmed the signing of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

The English youngster had long been tipped to join the serial Champions League winners, but we now have official confirmation.

Madrid revealed the signing of the Bundesliga star in a statement on their website.

“Real Madrid C. F. and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Jude Bellingham, who will be contracted to our club for the next six seasons.” the statement read.

“Jude Bellingham will be unveiled as a new Real Madrid player tomorrow, Thursday 15 June, at 12:00 noon at Real Madrid City.

“Following this, Jude Bellingham will speak to the media.”

Bellingham’s £115million move to the Spanish capital sees him become the most expensive English footballer of all time.

He takes that throne from recent treble winner Jack Grealish, who switched Aston Villa for Manchester City for £100million in 2021.

Manchester United‘s signings of Harry Maguire (£80million) and Jadon Sancho (£73million) are in third and fourth, respectively.

The midfielder also becomes Real Madrid’s second most expensive signing in history, with Eden Hazard’s £130million move from Chelsea back in 2019 top of the list.
