RB Leipzig vs Manchester City Team News & Injury Update

Marco Rose’s injury list has grown since their last match, as defender Benjamin Henrichs has picked up a minor hamstring problem and is expected to miss out for the Bundesliga outfit.

German defender Lukas Klostermann should replace Henrichs on the right of the four defenders, and is expected to be joined by central defenders Mohamed Simakan and Castello Lukeba, along with David Raum in left-back.

Dani Olmo, El Chadaille Bitshiabu and club-captain Willi Orban are all also sidelined through injury, meanwhile ex-Chelsea man Timo Werner is a doubt for the clash due to a back problem.

As for Manchester City, long-term absentee Kevin De Bruyne remains sidelined and still faces months rather than weeks away before becoming available for selection under Pep Guardiola.

John Stones (muscle) and Bernardo Silva (leg) have both suffered a spell away from the squad due to injury, but Guardiola confirmed earlier in the week that the pair will travel to Germany, and may well return to the fold on Wednesday evening.
