Harry Whittington does well at the first time of asking with horses he takes over from other yards, with the hurdlers landing eight of their 49 starts for a profit of £51.50 to the usual £1 stake. VENGEANCE, last seen finishing a modest third in an Ascot maiden hurdle for Tom Lacey in the spring, looks worth an interest on his debut for his new handler.

MAMMAS GIRL (system – Amo Racing newcomers)
Since the beginning of last year, owners Amo Racing are 21 from 81 with newcomers for a profit of £49.63 to a £1 level stake at SP. Richard Hannon is four from 18 with juvenile newcomers in the Amo Racing colours in that period (+£22.00) and can strike with MAMMAS GIRL.

FORCEFUL SPEED (system – New Bay handicappers, top three finish last time out)
Progeny of the sire New Bay have a 58 from 163 record in handicaps on the back of a top-three finish and backing them blind would have returned a profit of £111.74 to a £1 level stake at SP. FORCEFUL SPEED, a winner at Pontefract last time, is well drawn against the far side rail and could prove hard to pass.
