FFOS LAS 4.10
DICEY RIELLY (system – Sean Bowen, Ffos Las, chases only)
Sean Bowen has a fine record when riding over fences at Ffos Las, scoring on 39 of his 136 mounts (28.7% strike-rate) for a profit of £64.74 to a £1 level stake at SP. DICEY RIELLY contributed to those profits with victory in a mares’ handicap chase last month – her first start over fences at the Welsh venue – and can follow up this afternoon.
FFOS LAS 5.15
LERMOOS LEGEND (system – Sean Bowen, Ffos Las, chases only)
Sean Bowen could also be on the Ffos Las scoresheet with LERMOOS LEGEND, qualifies as a bet for me on the same system as Dicey Rielly (see Ffos Las 4.10). The eight-year-old hasn’t raced here since June 2021 but his course figures in cheekpieces of 2111 (3-4) suggest this return visit is well overdue.
NEWCASTLE 6.45
BA’HOA (system – Cool Silk-owned 2yo newcomers)
Since the beginning of 2010, juvenile newcomers owned by the Cool Silk partnership have a 14 from 68 record (20.6% strike-rate) for a profit of £73.38 to a £1 level stake at SP. BA’HOA has a tricky outside draw in stall 1 but looks worth a punt for the in-form Archie Watson/Hollie Doyle axis.
