Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew heads to Nottingham’s turf meeting and the evening all-weather action at Kempton for his two recommended bets/trades on Wednesday, October 26th. Follow his tips on horse racing betting sites throughout the year.

NOTTINGHAM 2.45
WRENTHORPE beat only one home at Redcar on his latest outing but the 40-1 shot had a terrible draw and it’s safe to draw a line though that. He usually goes well in Class 3 or lower company at this time of year, recording form figures in October/November of 23111212030 (4-11) for a profit of £24.25. Bryan Smart’s veteran has a good record at Nottingham – form figures of 12111203 (4-8) – and can be bought in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or backed each-way.
Recommendation: Back WRENTHORPE in Nottingham 2.45
KEMPTON JOCKEYS
RICHARD KINGSCOTE has done better than expected with his rides on Polytrack in recent years, scoring on 103 of the 596 runners since racing resumed after lockdown one in June 2020 (17.3% strike-rate). We wouldn’t have made money by backing them blind (-£17.15 to a £1 level stake or -2.9% on turnover) but we’d have made a 19% return by taking the best early price the night before racing.
The handicappers trained by Charlie & Mark Johnston are nine from 30 (+£27.70), with nine of the 21 beaten horses also making the frame. His six mounts at Kempton tonight include four handicappers for the Johnston yard and a buy of Kingscote’s performance index with Spreadex looks warranted.
Fixed odds punters may wish to combine some of his rides in a multiple, with WORLD WITHOUT LOVE (8.30) perhaps the most interesting. He did too much too soon in the first-time blinkers when favourite at Wolverhampton last time, weakening into sixth, but goes without the headgear tonight.
Recommendation: Buy RICHARD KINGSCOTE in Kempton Jockeys
