CHELTENHAM 1.30 – CHAMP KIELY
The return to forcing tactics saw the Willie Mullins-trained CHAMP KIELY back to winning ways in the Grade 1 Lawlor’s Of Naas in early January. He resented patient tactics, pulling hard as a result, when only fourth (10-11f) to yesterday’s Supreme Novice’ Hurdle winner Marine Nationale in the Royal Bond and now has form figures under Rules of 11141 (4-5). Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or back him each-way in the fixed odds betting.

CHELTENHAM 2.10 – GERRI COLOMBE
GERRI COLOMBE made it seven wins from seven starts under Rules when scoring by a length and three-quarters from BALCO COASTAL at Sandown last time but six of those seven runs took place on right-handed tracks, with the other coming in a Naas bumper when 1-2 favourite. It’s possible that he’ll jump out to his right now racing over obstacles on a left-handed track for the first time and could be worth opposing at skinny odds. THYME HILL, THE REAL WHACKER and THUNDER ROCK all have possibilities, and it could be worth selling the favourite in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
Recommendation: Oppose GERRI COLOMBE in Cheltenham 2.10
CHELTENHAM 2.50 – DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER
The Coral Cup has been a good race for those near the head of the weights in the past ten years and had we bet the six highest-weighted horses we’d have hit the winner on seven occasions and made a profit of £108.00 to a £1 level stake at SP. Gordon Elliott’s FIL DOR, number 1 on the racecard, has form figures over hurdles of 11122221 (4-8) and his trainer does well in this race. He is a good one to have on our side, as is the Charles Byrnes-trained RUN FOR OSCAR (number 3), who has won on two of his last three visits to Britain. Sell DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER with Spreadex.
