Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew heads Kempton’s evening all-weather fixture for his two recommended bets/trades on Wednesday, February 21st. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
KEMPTON 5.30
Proform’s speed class par figure for this 1m4f novice stakes is 63 and the only one to get close to that figure previously is the Gosden’s MONTEROSA, who was awarded a figure of 63 when runner-up in a soft-ground 1m2f nursery at Newmarket last October on her most recent outing. The 6-1 shot fared best of those to come from off the pace (the winner made all) and shapes as though the step up to 1m4f will suit on her all-weather debut. Today’s surface should hold no fears on breeding and while the likes of the once-raced LOS TOLDOS and CLOCKWATCHER can improve on what they’ve shown so far, I’m expecting the extra experience of Monterosa to prove decisive. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price (7-2 at the time of writing).
Recommendation: Back MONTEROSA in Kempton 5.30
KEMPTON 8.30
ABRAAJ has won just once from 21 starts but might be capable of out-running big odds in this 2m handicap. The Simon Pearce-trained six-year-old has only had three runs on the all-weather and his sole previous visit to Kempton resulted in a 10-1 second of 12 under David Probert, whose return to the saddle tonight could be the key. Probert is eight from 46 when riding for this yard on Polytrack (+ÂŁ28.25 to a ÂŁ1 level stake at SP) and 21 of the 38 beaten horses also made the frame, often at big prices. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take an each-way price (16-1 at the time of writing).
Recommendation: Back ABRAAJ in Kempton 8.30
