With the traditional low-draw bias on the straight course (races over 5f-1m) likely to be in full swing at Redcar today and with three races featuring just six or seven runners, Spreadex may have set their REDCAR DOUBLE DRAW market too high at 71-74. A win for stall 1 runners SIMULATION THEORY in the opening 1m apprentice handicap (1.43), impressive at Carlisle last time, would get us off to a flyer and it’s encouraging to see stall 2 runner ZLATAN subject of strong support in the same race. LADY JANE GREY (stall 1) qualifies as a bet for me on three different systems in the 2.18, while WAR TREATY (stall 1) looks overpriced in the 2.53. BOND POWER (stall 1) is 9-2 from 12-1 in the 4.03 and we could see the market make up in the 40s or low 50s.
Recommendation: Sell DOUBLE DRAW at Redcar

The winner, Isle Of Lismore, hasn’t raced since though the runner-up Kimngrace has and she could only finish sixth. Colombe’s three wins have all come in May and she looks worth selling in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
