The yard scored with stablemate Recuerdame for the same owners on Saturday and Paddy Bradley, on board for that success, takes the ride this afternoon. Jessica Macey’s BURABACK has proved to be a model of consistency since joining her yard from Iain Jardine in November and has recorded RPR’s (Racing Post Ratings) of 65, 66, 67, 69 & 68. The four-year-old caught the eye on his last outing at Wolverhampton – held up in rear, he took closer order on the home turn but failed to find a clear passage in the final furlong and finished a respectable sixth to Mick Appleby’s Bond Boy. He proved his liking for today’s conditions on his penultimate start when he came from off the pace to finish fourth to the well-handicapped Eligible (winner again since) over course and distance. His wins have come when ridden patiently and, with plenty of early pace among his rivals today the race could be run to suit. Buy in the 50-25-10 market or back him each-way in the Spreadex fixed odds betting.
