Her sire’s two-year-olds have a 14.4% strike-rate on their second career start (+£29.32 to a £1 level stake at SP), compared to just 6.2% on debut (11 winners from 179 bets, -£93.50). Charlie Appleby’s AL QUDRA is the stable string on jockey bookings for this 5f novice contest but Mickael Barzalona’s mount looks worth siding with after his eyecatching debut fourth over course and distance at the Craven meeting. The son of No Nay Never was very green that day, blowing the start, becoming unbalanced in the dip and doing really well to go down by just a length and a half. The three who beat him were prominent throughout and, given the tailwind, it was a huge effort. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
