Point-to-pointer winner CLASSIC ANTHEM caught the eye on his rules debut last February, doing well to finish a 13-length fifth of 11 after racing prominently around the inside of the track at Kempton when the race was dominated by those who challenged late/wide. Jim Boyle’s six-year-old placed the next twice before breaking his duck on his handicap debut at Sandown last month, his first start following a wind operation. WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30

Backing DIOMED SPIRIT is the obvious angle.
