LEARNTALOT was a big eyecatcher on his debut at Wincanton where he did best of those to come from off the pace in a 22-1 fourth. He placed at Sandown and at Wetherby the next twice and it will be disappointing if he doesn’t go close at least here. I also respect the chance of JOE DADANCER, who looked set to win a point-to-point by a wide margin before falling late on.
He’s moved to Ben Pauling ahead of his hurdles debut and his new yard has a good record in this race. Learntalot and Joe Dadancer are numbers 3 and 2 on the racecard and a sell of DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER with Spreadex looks warranted.

The horses at the front of the betting for the Charlie Hall Chase are potentially vulnerable on their first chase starts outside of novice/graduation company. BRAVEMANSGAME was firmly put in his place by AHOY SENOR at Aintree and the last-named is still far from convincing in the jumping department.
Better value can be found elsewhere, especially with ELDORADO ALLEN who goes well when fresh. His seasonal debut record reads 1211 (3-4), with the defeat by three-quarters of a length, and he’s unbeaten in four starts in October/November. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

WOLVERHAMPTON JOCKEYS
PUAL MULRENNAN has been a friend to punters in his rare visits to Wolverhampton in recent years, scoring on 18 of his 114 mounts since the beginning of 2019 for a profit of £80.58 to the usual £1 stake. In handicaps only that, improves to 17 from 89 for a profit of £101.83.
DAKOTA ELEGANCE looks well drawn in stall 3 for his nursery debut in the 4.58 and can get Mulrennan buyers off to a good start. He also has solid claims with handicappers MIN TILL (7.00) and UNPLUGGED (7.30), suggesting a small buy of his performance index with Spreadex could pay dividends.
