Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew made a good profit with his buy of FLYLIKEANEAGLE (2nd, 40-1) on Friday and has three recommended bets/trades on Saturday, December 9th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
SANDOWN 12.05
Horses aged six or seven who finished in the top four in their prep race have won the past ten renewals of this 2m4f mares’ handicap hurdle and backing all 47 qualifiers would have returned a profit of £24.00 to a £1 level stake at SP. Dan Skelton’s ELLE EST BELLE is the only qualifier today and she looks very interesting on her handicap debut. The daughter of Walk In The Park very much caught the eye in novice hurdle company at Warwick on her latest start, staying on well from off the pace into a 150-1 third of 14 on a course where patient tactics are usually at a big disadvantage. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back ELLE EST BELLE in Sandown 12.05
AINTREE 2.05
PERCUSSION has had three goes over the Grand National fences at Aintree and has placed on each occasion, including in this race last year when a 10-1 third of 22, just over five lengths behind the winner. Laura Morgan’s eight-year-old was only beaten by two lengths on heavy ground in the Grand Sefton here last month, finding the 2m5f trip very much on the short side, and will be hard to kick out of the frame. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or back him each-way at a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back PERCUSSION in Aintree 2.05
AINTREE 2.40
Jane Williams’ juvenile hurdler KNIGHT OF ALLEN was due to debut at Bangor, but the meeting was called off, so he was pitched straight into Grade 2 company at Cheltenham where he was carried out by a faller at the first flight. He attracted some market interest at big prices that day and it’s interesting to note that his half-brother Galahad Quest came to hand early, going down by a neck to Buzz on his second start before landing a Grade 2 juvenile hurdle on his third outing. His half-sister Iliade Allen also made an early impact, landing a Warwick bumper at odds of 11-2 on her second run before finding only one too good in a 15-runner Listed bumper at Cheltenham. Highly regarded by his trainer, Knight OF Allen is potentially Graded class and looks worth a punt in this Listed contest. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back KNIGHT OF ALLEN in Aintree 2.40
