He failed to settle behind pacesetter and market leader Box To Box at Wolverhampton on his next outing but ran very well, getting the better of the favourite in the home straight before being picked up close home and finishing a length third to course expert Civil Law. He’s been freshened up since his last start, a respectable fourth in a Chelmsford handicap, and is taken to bounce back this evening. According to the pace map, he faces little or no competition for the lead and could prove very difficult to peg back. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

That was his fourth start since New Year’s Day and his form has improved with his race fitness, landing his first hurdle win after decent third-placed efforts at Fontwell and Fakenham. Trainer Paul Henderson’s runners are profitable to back blindly at Plumpton and with Nick Schofield retained for the ride he has sound claims of going in again.
