Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
The action hots up on Friday (October 7th) and Andrew has two recommended bets/trades at Chepstow (jumps) and Newmarket (Flat). Follow his tips on horse racing betting sites throughout the year.

CHEPSTOW 4.35
LEN BRENNAN recorded just one win from 17 starts when with Tim Vaughan and that was at odds of 1-4 in an incredibly weak soft-ground novices’ hurdle at Sedgefield.
He doubled his career tally when successful in a 3m1.5f handicap chase at Plumpton on his debut for Milton Harris last February but was hugely flattered by the pace collapse – fancied pair Mellow Ben (3-1) and Lilith (9-2) went off too fast that day and both finished out of the places.
Len Brennan finished unplaced at even-money, 7-2 and 15-8 in his three subsequent starts, trailing home a 55-length last of five on his most recent outing. His patient running style is far from ideal for Chepstow and he can be sold in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
Recommendation: Oppose LEN BRENNAN in Chepstow 4.35
NEWMARKET 4.45
CHARLIE APPLEBY has a wealth of juvenile talent at his disposal, but they are not always ready to go at the first time of asking. Since the beginning of last year, his two-year-old newcomers are 21 from 107 for a loss of ÂŁ38.35 to a ÂŁ1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 28.35).
In the same period, the fillies are 0-24 and, though there’s obviously a large amount of guess work involved, it could be worth opposing DREAM OF LOVE in division one of this 7f fillies’ maiden, despite her heading the early market at odds of 5-2. Stall 8 of 9 could make life tricky as she’s well away from the far side rail (the stalls are far side today). Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
Recommendation: Oppose DREAM OF LOVE in Newmarket 4.45
