Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew successfully opposed LASTING LOVE (7th) at Haydock on Friday and has two recommended bets/trades at Market Rasen on Friday, June 7th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

MARKET RASEN 3.18

STAR LEGEND heads the market for this 2m4f handicap hurdle on the strength of his last-time-out Fakenham second but he’s scored just once from 18 starts and he usually struggles when racing away from the Norfolk venue. He was probably flattered by his latest run too, as they went hard up front and the first three came from midfield or further back. Sell at 22 in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market. Fixed odds punters might want to side with IF KARL’S BERG DID, who will appreciate the faster ground after last month’s soft-ground Uttoxeter third.

Recommendation: Oppose STAR LEGEND in Market Rasen 3.18

MARKET RASEN 4.20

Dan Skelton’s DON OCCHETTI has been beaten by a combined total of 95 lengths in his two starts since handicapping, but both came in soft-ground hurdle races, and he looks very interesting now making his chase debut on good ground. The first-time cheekpieces could also bring about improvement, as his trainer has a solid record when using this headgear, especially on a runner who finished fifth or worse last time out as Don Occhetti did. Skelton’s chasers are ten from 39 on this angle for a profit of £37.25 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 6.51, A/E = 1.54). Only two of those were making their chase debut and both won (7-1 and 4-1). Buy at 19 in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price (3-1).

Recommendation: Back DON OCCHETTI in Market Rasen 4.20
