The cheekpieces, worn first-time, when landing her maiden success for her previous yard are re-applied and should help eke out enough improvement to regain the winning thread. KODEBREAKER very much caught the eye on his first run for the Michael Herrington yard when a 14-1 sixth of ten to Snooze Lane over the extended mile at Wolverhampton last month. Tom Eaves dropped him out in the rear early before making an eyecatching move on the wide outside on the turn for home, but failed to get a clear run, hanging badly left inside the final furlong. He showed a liking for the Southwell Tapeta surface when second to the Tim Easterby-trained Revoquable on his penultimate start and should appreciate the step back to 7f on his return, a distance his sole success came over earlier in the season at Redcar. Buy in the 50-25-10 market or back each-way in the Spreadex fixed odds betting.
