The form of Tullyhill’s Listed win at Punchestown on February 18th has not worked out, with the winner running a stinker in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, the third pulling up when 11-1 for the Coral Cup, the fourth pulling up in the County Hurdle and the sixth finishing last of eight in a Grade 3 mares’ race at Limerick. Today, we are being asked to take offers of around 11-4 about nine-length runner-up NO FLIES ON HIM for this Grade 2 contest and that looks plenty short enough. Sell in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market. Fixed odds punters might want to side with the progressive OSCARS BROTHER.

The Ruth Carr-trained BROTHER DAVE opened his account at the 14th attempt in a classified contest over course and distance earlier this month and might be able to double up now that he’s finally off the mark. Carr also trains his half-brother Bobby Joe Leg, another late-maturing type, who has won on 14 occasions including four this year despite turning ten on New Year’s Day. Brother Dave has a good draw in stall 6 and could be ahead of the handicapper. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
