HIGHWAY ONE O TWO is the outsider of five in the Christmas Hurdle, as big as 100-1 in places, but might be able to grab third or even second place behind the brilliant CONSTITUTION HILL. Chris Gordon’s seven-year-old has a great record on right-handed tracks and bolted up by more than seven lengths in what had looked a competitive handicap hurdle at Ascot last time. His two Kempton runs saw him saunter home by almost five lengths in a Grade 2 novices’ hurdle before a runner-up effort in the Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle when not quite staying the 2m5f trip. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

KEMPTON 3.05
PANIC ATTACK got off the mark over fences at Huntingdon last time but that was in a three-runner mares’ contest, and she could be vulnerable against the boys today. She’s won five of her nine starts when racing against her own sex but has form figures of 004327 (0-6) when taking on male rivals. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market. Fixed odds punters might wish to side with WEST CORK, who will appreciate going right-handed for the first time over fences.
Recommendation: Oppose PANIC ATTACK in Kempton 3.05
WETHERBY 3.20
BRENTFORD HOPE became difficult to win with on the Flat and his losing run moved on to ten when beaten by seven lengths into second place (11-8) at Taunton last time. He’s now zero from two over jumps but his unconvincing profile hasn’t prevented bookmakers form pricing him up as favourite for this two-mile handicap hurdle. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market. Fixed odds punters might want to side with BONNE VITESSE at a big price.
Recommendation: Oppose BRENTFORD HOPE in Wetherby 3.20
