NEWMARKET 1.35
DANCING (system – Amo Racing-owned newcomers, turf)
Since the start of last year, owners Amo Racing have an 18 from 67 record with newcomers (regardless of age) on turf for a profit of £51.75. The last two qualifiers – King Of Steel (11-2) and Mammas Girl (3-1 from 13-2) – both won and perhaps the Richard Hannon-trained DANCING can get the hat-trick up.
AYR 1.58
DESTINY IS ALL (system – Ayr chases, won Ayr chase last time out)
Chase winners at Ayr have a very good record when bidding to win another Ayr chase on their next start. Since the beginning of 2010, 25 of the 70 qualifiers gave scored for a profit of ÂŁ43.49 (expected winners only 16.66). DESTINY IS ALL won over 2m4f and 3m3f here last spring and can complete an Ayr chase hat-trick on his reappearance.
NEWMARKET 2.13
MONOPOLISE (system – Ed Walker, nursery debutants, 7f+, turf)
Ed Walker is seven from 24 with nursery debutants who were running over 7f or further on turf and backing them blind would have returned a profit of ÂŁ20.63 to a ÂŁ1 stake. MONOPOLISE kept on well to finish fifth of 13 in a 6f novice contest at Windsor last time and looks set to appreciate the step up to 7f on his handicap debut.

WETHERBY 2.25
MOLLY OLLYS WISHES (system – mares’ only races)
Last year’s winner MOLLY OLLYS WISHES has form figures in races confined to mares of 24212711111 (6-11) for a profit of £13.25 to a £1 level stake at SP. It can pay to challenge late/wide at Wetherby when the ground is on the soft side and Harry Skelton gave her the perfect ride when taking this by five and a half lengths on her comeback 12 months ago. She can repeat the dose.
ASCOT 2.40
AMOOLA GOLD (system – seasonal pattern)
Cases can be made for several runners in this 2m1f handicap chase but AMOOLA GOLD, first past the post in this race for the past two seasons, is the solid one. He has a strong seasonal pattern to his form, recording form figures over fences in October/November of 1311212 (4-7) for a profit of ÂŁ28.50 to a ÂŁ1 level stake at SP.
ASCOT 3.15
MISTER MALARKEY (system – Richard Bandey chasers)
Simply backing all chasers trained by Richard Bandey would have found 20 winners from 85 runners for a massive profit of ÂŁ163.87 to the usual ÂŁ1 stake. MISTER MALARKEY, runner-up in both previous starts for the yard after switching from Colin Tizzard last term, could benefit from the return to Ascot, the scene of two of his last three wins, and makes each-way appeal.
