HALF SHOT (system – Yeats breeding angle)
Since the beginning of 2017, progeny of Yeats who have Supreme Leader as their damsire are 31 from 215 (14.4% strike-rate) for a profit of £47.28 to a £1 level stake at SP. HALF SHOT was denied a hat-trick when third over course and distance last time but that form was boosted when the runner-up won the Sky Bet Chase last week and he looks good value at around 12-1 to get back to winning ways.

BAND OF OUTLAWS (system – Ben Haslam, second run for the yard)
Ben Haslam is showing a profit of £37.84 at the second time of asking with horses he takes over from other yards and BAND OF OUTLAWS could be worth a small interest at a big price despite finishing well beaten at Sandown on his stable debut four weeks ago. The quicker ground will suit and he’s worth a very small interest at a huge price (40-1 at the time of writing).

LARRY (system – Midnight Legend chasers, February to June)
Progeny of the sire Midnight Legend have a great record over fences, especially around springtime. Had we simply bet all of the sire’s chase runners from February to June we’d have won 238 of our 1318 bets (18% strike-rate) and made a profit of £251.07 to a £1 level stake at SP. Max Dynamo provided us with a 14-1 winner on this angle yesterday and perhaps LARRY, two from two at this venue over trips short of 3m5f, can follow suit.
